Gunung Panti

Gunung Panti is a flat top mountain with various peaks with the highest elevation of 520M. The size of the whole forest reserve is around 134KM² with a mix of lowland dipterocarp and hill dipterocarp forest which is sadly not entirely primary forest. In the forest of Gunung Panti, all 7 species of cats in Peninsula Malaysia could be found there and over 380 species of birds. It is one of the most biodiverse areas in Johor. There is a main trail called the Bunker Trail which has the length of 8KM. This trail is famous among birders as it is easy to drive or walk on it to spot birds.
